Number Crunching
This afternoon I have been crunching the old figures for the next year forecast and before I reveal the total let me break it down for you. This year we have made around the $5000 mark, so this works out as roughly $714 a month. Considering that the minimum total outgoing is $1666, this isn't good enough.
At the moment the future is looking bleak to say the least, I have us down (if things keep going on this way) to next year make a loss of $9372.... This is really not good. Even if we reject the trainee that we have we still stand to make a loss of $1992, again this isn't good. However if we sack the useless marketing guy, and just have me running the show (which is extremely easy to do) we stand to make a profit of $8004. Now I am faced with a dilemma, do I show these figures to the MD, get everyone else fired and work from home feeling very good about myself or do I shut up and let us continue to loose money. It's kind of like do I yell "Iceberg dead ahead!" or do I go down into the freezing waters of the artic with Rose, only to die holding onto a piece of wood? I think we all know what happened to Jack, and I don't intend to let that happen to me (am I being over dramatic). We need to make money; business is about making money, not hitting icebergs. I'm now going to have to have a private word or a private email, either way; he has to know how much money we are loosing.
